Spamming
Spamming will not be tolerated here. If you are seen, or reported to be spamming, we will take a look at what you are doing, and if the site team deems it necessary that you have been spamming, expect a quick ban.
You get one strike with us, and that is a week long ban. If you did not learn your lesson the first time, we will kick you out for good.
It will NOT be tolerated.
Classifieds Section
In order to even see the classifieds section, 50 posts must be attained. This is in place to protect us from scammers/spammers. It is also there to prevent those from signing up one day to sell their shit, and never come back.
This is a community, and we want it to be a community, so if the 50 posts require you a while to post in that section, well then so be it. Personal messages and posts complaining about this rule will be ignored and deleted, so don't waste your time.
Once you have access to the Classifieds, do us a favor and read the posting rules in that forum. They make life easier, trust us.
Searching
The search feature is here for a reason. Use it. There is also a feature when you start a new thread, to pull similar thread titles after you type them in. We have taken great lengths to ensure that you search, so quite simply do it.
Spelling and Grammar
God, I can't believe I have to say this, but we ask that you at least try to make an attempt at spelling and grammar. None of the shortened words like 'wut' or 'ppl', for example. Take the extra effort and just type the whole word out. Now I know typos are made, and that we don't give a shit about as much, just type as if you weren't 16, ok?
While we allow the use of 'lol', and others like it, do not abuse it. Use proper english, and don't go overboard with the internet slang.
Flaming and Trolling
Flame wars will NOT be tolerated here. No insulting, slander, or racist name calling. Do not start flame wars, or partake in them. This is a friendly site, geared towards having a solid technical database, and a friendly attitude. No elitist attitudes. There is no place for people who think they are above everyone else here. The only ones allowed to call you out at times, is the site team. Do not question us. We do not think we are above you, but chances are, we know a bit more than you. Getting a harsh reply from a moderator, or respected member (you know who they are) is a sign of us wanting you to listen. So listen.
If you have a problem with actions the site team takes against you for violation this rule, you are subject to a much harsher penalty such as:
* Temporary Ban
* Some posting priveleges revoked
* Permanent ban
Do NOT test us. Again, we are a friendly community, contribute in a positive way, and you will be treated likewise.
Signatures
You can either choose...
To have 6 lines total of text that is either car related or forum related. We would like for the first line to be some variation of your name. If you are uncomfortable with this, read the Privacy Policy. This is not necessarily a requirement, but we would really like it. The second line we would like to see a short abbreviate mod list. DO NOT list every single mod you have done. Only the major ones that we would need to know to help you out. We will assume you have all the supporting mods to complete your setup. Model, engine size, Turbo, Injector size, tunning tool, if you are running any alternative type of fuel than post that also. ect.
Example: GSX: 2.0L,16g,650cc,DSMlink,E85
The next four lines are up to you to fill. Again it has to be either car related or forum related.
OR
You can have a picture that is car or forum related with the maximum size of 375x80 pixels and ONE line of text either your name or mod list in the format above. An embed quote from the site will also be treated as a picture or "IMG" file.
Example size: Your sig pic must be the same size or smaller tham this black box:

Bench Racing
Bench racing is not tolerated at DSMP. The definition of bench racing is as follows:
To discuss the possible quarter-mile elapsed time (E.T.) of a car based on a list of modifcations or horsepower estimate, or to discuss the estimated output (in horsepower) of one engine versus another based on lists of modifications done to each engine. Also, it is to discuss "which is faster?" or "Which would win in a race?" between two cars, based on the first two examples above.

Any post or thread containing bench racing, will be deleted. Simple as that.
